Timeless & Welcoming

Modern signage, soothing colors, and clear wayfinding create an inclusive, inviting experience for this modern community hub.

Celebrating Place

Inspired by Rockland County’s geography and history, the graphics feature topographic patterns from nearby High Tor State Park and Mountainview Nature Park. These elements connect visitors to their surroundings and highlight the library’s role in the community.

Reflections of Home

Topographic patterns extend across meeting room glass, creating continuity with the wall graphics while celebrating the surrounding landscape from New City proper to the Palisades and Deforest Lake.

Intuitive Navigation

Custom icons, colors, and typography guide visitors through the library’s many spaces.
