A renewed entry plaza and signage system celebrates Lynchburg City Stadium’s history while welcoming a new generation of athletes and fans.
Built in 1939, the stadium is a longstanding community gathering place and home to local high school athletics. We developed signage and exhibits that honor its history while supporting the needs of a revitalized facility.
The entry plaza uses illuminated monuments, memorial plaques, and historic information to introduce visitors to the stadium and its athletic legacy. A clean, restrained signage system continues throughout the facility, helping visitors find amenities while preserving a timeless character.
Entry monuments highlight the stadium’s history and recognize the legacy of its athletes.
New identification signage gives the stadium a strong presence at the entry plaza.
Directional signs clearly identify key amenities throughout the concourse and stadium.
