The team you meet at the beginning stays engaged as the work develops, carrying your goals and feedback from early conversations through design, fabrication, and installation. We make space for questions, feedback, and decision-making along the way so the final design reflects your goals and works for the people who will use the space.

Our Process

A successful project takes more than good design. It takes clear communication, an engaged team, and a shared understanding of where the project is headed. We work backward from key project milestones to keep everyone engaged and collaboration high, while making sure the design continues to align with the broader project schedule.

Discovery

We start by getting to know the project, from its practical requirements to the stories it needs to tell and the experience you want people to have in the space. Workshops and vision sessions give us a chance to ask questions, hear different perspectives, and establish a shared understanding that carries through the rest of the project.

Concept Design

With the goals and ideas from discovery in hand, we begin exploring the overall look and feel of the project. We bring several directions to the table, then use your feedback to focus the design and work through what is and isn’t working.

  • We identify challenges in the proposed designs and work through solutions together.

Design Development

Once a design direction is established, we begin refining the details and building the concept into a cohesive plan. We continue the conversations started in discovery, making sure the story, imagery, content, and individual sign types come together as a complete system.

  • With your team’s input, we refine the final imagery.
  • Approved concepts are developed into the full suite of sign types.

Pricing Package

Once the design is established, we finalize sign locations, materials, and fabrication details so the project is ready for bidding. We help identify vendors and fabricators who are a good fit for the project’s budget, scope, and goals, and we remain involved as the project moves toward fabrication.

  • We can manage the full bid process, gathering competitive pricing from a curated group of trusted vendors and fabricators.
  • We review bids and provide recommendations to help your team make informed decisions about vendor selection.

Final Art

With the major decisions in place, we finalize the remaining details and prepare the most complete package possible for shop drawings. This is also an opportunity to make sure the work still reflects the decisions and goals established earlier in the process.

  • Exact sign content is determined and finalized.

Construction Administration

Our involvement continues through fabrication and installation. We work closely with vendors, review shop drawings and samples, and help resolve issues as they come up. Your project does not get handed off to someone else at this stage. We stay engaged through the final details.

  • We manage communication with vendors around shop drawings and samples, bringing options to your team when a decision is needed.
  • We complete a post-installation review and help tie up any remaining loose ends.
