A global wayfinding and environmental graphics program transforms Cardinal Elementary School into an engaging place to learn, explore, and connect with the world.
We developed a thematic approach to wayfinding, signage, and graphics that connects the school’s sustainability goals with its commitment to inclusion and global learning. Each academic wing represents a different continent, bringing geography, landscapes, and cultures into the everyday experience of the school.

We saw opportunities to turn everyday navigation into moments of discovery. Classroom signs, corridor graphics, and larger-scale installations introduce students to places around the world, while the library brings the seven continents together in a central world map that reinforces the school’s global perspective.
Each academic wing features topographic patterns, landscapes, and cultural references inspired by its continent.
