Connecting
People to Place
Each of our projects, regardless of its building type, has a relationship to its community, environment, and history. Specific, relevant content is essential to how a visitor interacts with a space. By pulling from these individual storylines, we believe that design can create meaningful experiences and build strong connections.
Creating
Environments
that Inspire
We believe that when visual communication is creatively incorporated into the built environment, people feel more connected to the world around them. Our hope is that our user-focused approach to experiential and environmental graphic design (EGD) goes beyond building signage and navigation to spur interaction, evoke emotion, add beauty, and encourage learning.
Our Team
We are a team of self-motivated, multidisciplinary designers who all share a passion for making a positive impact on the world around us through collaborative, imaginative, and engaging design.
Owner, Founder & Creative Director
Brittney is a big-picture thinker with an inherent passion for what she does. Work aside, she is a world-traveling, mid-century-modern loving, dachshund enthusiast.
Project Coordinator
Colleen is a design researcher with an enthusiasm for all things environmental graphic design. Away from her laptop, she's probably in search of the perfect patio seat at a brewery or prepping for a house party with her husband.
Production Artist
Aleisha is a multi-talented problem-solver with a varied background in insurance, custom product design, and pharmacy. When not in the office she’s probably spending time with her animals, reading, or playing video games with her husband, Mike.
Designer
Tim is an industrial designer devoted to exploring the materiality of physical spaces through his design work. Outside of the office, he can be found sampling local taco & barbecue joints and subjecting his dog to photoshoots.
Graphic Design Director
Marigold is a seasoned design leader who blends project goals with visual innovation. When she’s away from her desk, she’s probably thrifting for quirky vintage art & decor.
Designer
Thomas is interested in the storytelling potential of graphic design and illustration. When he’s not in the studio, you can find him drawing web comics and tending to his honey bee colonies with his wife, Lynne and their dogs, Toby, Peter Barker, and Jibbs.
Owner, Studio Director
Rush combines her passion for design with her love of complex problem solving to make sure good work is done well. When not in the office, she can be found spontaneously rearranging household furniture or trying to keep up with her kids and husband.
Designer
Marshall combines strategy, craftsmanship, and a bit of whimsy to develop inclusive designs that bring joy to users. If not in studio, you might find him in the climbing gym, the woodshop, or endeavoring to learn Japanese (よろしくお願いします).
Designer
Glenn is a designer that enjoys exploring the intersection of art, design and graphics. Outside of the office you’ll find him around Richmond, from the rocks of Belle Isle to the lawn of the Virginia Museum of Fine Arts.
Designer
Lily is an industrial designer focused on sustainable, human-centered design and hands-on material exploration. Outside the studio, she can often be found sewing, exploring new places, or taking photos.
