A well-defined wayfinding hierarchy facilitates navigation within the school. Each floor level is represented by a landscape seen in and near Crozet: Mountains, Woodlands, and Creek. Corridor graphics highlight local destinations while classroom signage showcases native flora, fauna, and engaging activities. The harmonious color palette specific to each level ensures clear and intuitive wayfinding.
Connecting with the Environment
Captivating wall graphics showcase large-scale photos of notable locations in Crozet and the surrounding county. These visually immersive vistas in real-life scale create a sense of connection and presence, transporting viewers to iconic places within the community.
Throughout the corridors, strategically placed informational graphics engage elementary-aged students.
